THE ROLE
Working in a busy metal processing environment, you will carry out a variety of tasks including:
Loading furnaces
Operating metal extrusion press machines
Working with hot metals
Use of hand tools - grinders, handpress
Visual inspection for quality
Operating overhead crane to move metal bars (training given)
Bandsaw operation
Finishing - grinding, deburring
